Cuisine

Hyderabad is famous for its unique Hyderabadi Biryani, a flavorful rice and meat dish infused with spices. Other culinary delights include Haleem, Mirchi ka Salan, Double ka Meetha, and Osmania biscuits. The city's food culture is a fusion of Mughlai, Persian, Turkish, and regional Telugu influences, creating a diverse and spicy cuisine that’s loved globally.

Cultural Richness

The city’s culture is a blend of Hindu and Muslim traditions, with festivals such as Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid, and Bonalu celebrated widely. Hyderabad is also a major center for Tollywood, the Telugu film industry, producing numerous regional films that have a massive fan base. The city is known for its handicrafts, including Bidriware, Lac Bangles from Laad Bazaar, Kalamkari textiles, and Pochampally sarees.

Modern Hyderabad: A Tech and Business Hub

In recent years, Hyderabad has earned the nickname "Cyberabad" due to its growth as a major IT and technology hub. It houses HITEC City (Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy City), where companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Amazon have set up their offices.
Pharmaceutical Industry: The city is also known as India’s pharmaceutical capital, with companies like Dr. Reddy’s, Aurobindo Pharma, and Divi’s Laboratories based here.
